Milestone-financed development
Studio Funding & Co-Production
Development financing from our own capital, paid against agreed milestones, recouped from the title’s revenue. A publishing agreement — not a loan, not an investment product, and never a public offering.
How this actually works
We fund a limited number of titles per year from the company’s own balance sheet. Money is released against milestones both sides signed off in advance, and it is recouped from the published title’s net revenue before the profit split begins. The studio keeps its intellectual property; we license the right to publish it for the agreed term and territories. Everything is written down before the first payment moves.
Included in the scope
- Development grants and milestone financing for titles we agree to publish
- Co-production on projects where we take part of the production work as well as the cost
- Vertical-slice and prototype funding for teams that are not yet production-ready
- Budget review with a producer, not a spreadsheet template
- Recoupment schedule and profit split written into the agreement before signature
- IP stays with the developer; we license publishing rights for a defined term
What you receive
- A written term sheet before any commitment, including recoupment and reversion terms
- A milestone plan with acceptance criteria agreed by both parties
- Quarterly recoupment statements once the title is live
Important clarification
This is a commercial publishing arrangement between two businesses. It is not a financial product, not investment advice, and nothing on this site is an offer to buy or sell securities.
