Pitch portal

Pitch your game to Bocary Studios

Free to submit, read by a producer, answered in writing within ten working days. Your intellectual property stays yours — we license the right to publish, nothing more.

  • No submission fee
  • Answered in 10 working days
  • IP stays with the developer
  • No exclusivity to read
01 — Your studio

The only address we will use to answer you.

We work with studios worldwide.

02 — The game

A working title is fine.

The hook, the core loop, who it is for, and why now. Plain words beat marketing language here.

03 — Materials

Steam playtest, itch.io build, private YouTube link — anything playable or watchable. Include the password in the description below if it needs one.

A link, not an attachment — this form accepts no file uploads.

04 — What you need from us
Support needed

Pick everything that applies. Selecting only distribution or marketing is perfectly normal.

A band is enough. This is what your project needs — we do not calculate a figure for you.

Free to submit. Your IP stays yours. Answered within ten working days.

From pitch to launch

The route your game takes through Bocary Studios

Six stages, each with the time it takes and what comes out of it. Nothing here is a black box — you always know which stage your submission is in.

  1. 01Same day

    Pitch received

Your submission arrives through the pitch portal with a reference number. Nothing is forwarded outside Bocary Studios, and we do not ask for exclusivity to read a deck.

  2. 02Within 10 working days

    First read

A producer plays the build or watches the footage and writes an answer: a yes, a no with the reason, or a specific question. Every submission is answered.

  3. 032–4 weeks

    Deep evaluation

For titles we want to take further: market comparables, scope and budget review, a technical read of the build, and a call with the team behind it.

  4. 04Within 4 weeks of green light

    Term sheet

A written term sheet — funding, milestones, recoupment, territories, term length, reversion. You take it to your own lawyer before anyone signs anything.

  5. 05Project length

    Production & milestones

Financing is released against milestones with acceptance criteria you agreed to. Marketing and QA plans start running in parallel, not at the end.

  6. 06Launch onward

    Launch & live operations

Submission, certification, store pages, campaign execution, then patches, sales events and reporting with the storefront figures attached.

Before you send it

Questions developers ask us first

The awkward ones included. If an answer here contradicts something you are told in a call, the written answer is the one that holds.

Does it cost anything to pitch a game to Bocary Studios?

No. Submitting a pitch is free and always will be. We never charge a reading fee, a submission fee, or a fee to be considered. Any party asking a developer to pay to be evaluated is not doing publishing.

Who owns the intellectual property if you publish my game?

You do. A publishing agreement with us licenses the right to publish and distribute your title for an agreed term and territory. The IP, the source code and the trademarks stay with the developer, and the agreement states the conditions under which the rights revert to you.

Is your funding an investment product?

No. Development financing comes from Bocary Studios’ own capital under a commercial publishing agreement between two businesses, and is recouped from the title’s revenue. We are not a bank, lender, broker or investment firm, we do not accept deposits, and we do not offer investments to the public.

What kind of games do you publish?

Premium and free-to-play titles for PC, console and mobile across action, puzzle, RPG, strategy and narrative genres. We do not publish real-money gambling titles, casino simulations built around purchasable chance mechanics, or titles that cannot obtain a PEGI or ESRB rating.

What do you need in a pitch?

A one-page summary, a playable build or a gameplay video, your target platforms, the team behind it, and an honest budget and schedule. A polished pitch deck helps, but a playable ten minutes helps more.

Will you sign an NDA before I send the pitch?

Not before a first read — we receive too many submissions for that to be workable, and no publisher can promise it. We treat every submission as confidential in practice, do not share it outside the company, and will sign a mutual NDA before the deep evaluation stage.

Do you work with studios outside the EU?

Yes. We are a Danish company contracting under Danish law, and we work with development teams worldwide. Payments are made in EUR, USD or DKK as agreed in the contract.

How are age ratings handled?

We manage the rating submissions as part of distribution — PEGI for Europe, ESRB for North America, USK for Germany, and the IARC questionnaire for mobile and digital storefronts. A title is not announced with a rating before the rating body has issued one.
